Jeltje Andries van Gorkum, born in Tzum on March 23, 1807, christened there on March 29, 1807, daughter of Andries Murks van Gorkum (worker and cabbage grower) and Tettje Jans Arbeider, died in Franeker on July 22, 1838, aged 31 years.
Jeltje was married in Franeker on May 8, 1837, at the age of 30 to
Gerrit Hanzes Dijkstra (aged 27 years), born in Peins on April 7, 1810, christened there on May 6, 1810, son of Hans Rinses Dijkstra and Grietje Jacobs Brunia, worker and cabbage grower, died in Schalsum on October 2, 1885, aged 75 years.
Gerrit was married afterwards in Franekeradeel on May 2, 1840, at the age of 30 to Baukje Rinzes Miedema (aged 21 years), born in Dongjum on April 10, 1819, daughter of Rinze Jans Miedema (cabbage grower) and Janke Wiltjes Mulder, died on October 9, 1908, aged 89 years.
