Albert Jans Tichelaar, born in Bolsward on June 2, 1842, son of Jan Heerts Tichelaar and Anna Hendriks Bontekoe.

Albert was married in Leeuwarden on August 1, 1874, at the age of 32 to
Tietje Mazerius (aged approximately 22 years), born circa 1852 (?).
