Baukje was married in Almenum on September 7, 1816, at the age of approximately 19 to
Jelle Theunis Tigchelaar (aged approximately 21 years), born in Almenum circa 1795, son of Theunis Reinders and Grietje Jelles, kilnman, tilebaker, worker, tilebaker and tigchelaarsknecht, died in Midlum on January 31, 1858, aged approximately 63 years.
Jelle was married afterwards in Franekeradeel on June 29, 1828, at the age of approximately 33 to Johanna Jans Oosterhout (aged approximately 22 years), born in Harlingen circa 1806, daughter of Jan Johannes and Dieuwke Floris, werkbode.

• 1 : Grietje Jelles Tigchelaar, born in Midlum on November 26, 1817, died there on November 8, 1852, aged 34 years.
  Grietje was married in Franekeradeel on May 5, 1838, at the age of 20 to Gatze Pieters Boersma (aged approximately 25 years), born in Harlingen circa 1813, son of Pieter Sjoukes Boersma and Dieuwke Mens, tilebaker.
  

• 2 : Jan Jelles Tigchelaar, born in Almenum circa 1821, tilebaker and worker, died in Peins on April 13, 1856, aged approximately 35 years.
  Jan was married to Dieuwke Philips Snijder, born circa 1822 (?).
  

• 3 : Gettje Jelles Tigchelaar, born in Almenum on November 21, 1822, died in Midlum on March 8, 1834, aged 11 years.
  

• 4 : Lijsbeth Jelles Tigchelaar, born in Almenum on November 27, 1825.
