Jan was married afterwards in Arum on May 19, 1777 in church, at the age of 29 to Jeltje Gerrits de Jong (aged approximately 25 years), born in Arum circa 1752, daughter of Gerrit Douwes and N.N., died in Tzum on March 10, 1827, aged approximately 75 years.
