Sybren Tigchelaar, born in Wijnaldum on April 10, 1887, son of Klaas Rommerts Tigchelaar (worker) and Jantje van der Zee, shopkeeper, grocer and casual labourer, died in Sexbierum on April 3, 1959, aged 71 years.

Sybren was married in Schoterland on October 6, 1910, at the age of 23 to
Trijntje Groen (aged 24 years), born in Rohel on September 6, 1886, daughter of Andries Groen and Antje Poepjes, died in Sexbierum on May 20, 1976, aged 89 years.
