  Cornelis was married in Midlum on May 19, 1777 in church, at the age of approximately 38 to Stijntje Jans Tigchelaar (aged 28 years), born in the year 1749, daughter of Jan Daams and Sjoerdtje Pieters, peat tallier and woman worker, died in Midlum on May 16, 1824, aged 75 years.
  Stijntje was married afterwards after October 14, 1790, at the age of at least 41 to Fokke Jans Feenstra, died before May 16, 1824.
