Bauke Zeilstra, born in Leiden circa 1845, son of Hendrik Baukes Zeilstra and Pietje Jans van der Els.

Bauke was married in Spaarndam on September 25, 1870, at the age of approximately 25 to
Maria Hartog (aged approximately 21 years), born in Spaarndam circa 1849, daughter of Pieter Hartog and Catharina Baalberg.
