Goffe was married in Ferwerderadeel on May 8, 1913, at the age of approximately 26 to
Ybeltje Kingma (aged 28 years), born in Lichtaard on February 20, 1885, daughter of Marten Lieuwes Kingma and Trijntje Gerbens van Wieren.
