Akke was married on August 1, 1850, at the age of approximately 22 to
Pieter Nannes Smeding (aged 42 years), born in Roordahuizum on April 27, 1808, christened there on May 15, 1808, son of Nanne Durks Smeding (merchant) and Ymkje Wybes Feenstra, died in Idaarderadeel on March 8, 1869, aged 60 years.
