Hoyte Uiltjes Veenema (aged 47 years), born in Wartena on September 1, 1802, christened there on October 17, 1802, son of Uiltje Hoytes Veenema (peat cutting supervisor) and Feikjen Wybes Feenstra, barge hand.
Hoyte was married before in Idaarderadeel on February 4, 1836, at the age of 33 to his cousin Wypken Gerrits Feenstra (aged 34 years), born in Wartena on March 19, 1801, christened there on May 10, 1801, daughter of Gerrit Wybes Feenstra (peat cutting supervisor) and Aurelia Sybrens Visser, died in Buiksloot on February 28, 1848, aged 46 years.
