Cornelis was married before in Eernewoude on October 20, 1754 in church, at the age of 24 to Eelkje Ages (aged approximately 22 years), born circa 1732 (?), christened in Harlingen. Cornelis was married afterwards in Wartena on December 29, 1793 in church, at the age of 63 to Jetske Freerks (aged 22 years), born in Warstiens on February 21, 1771, christened in Wagra / Wartena / Warstiens in the year 1771, died in Idaarderadeel on January 17, 1851, aged 79 years.
