Sijtje Feenstra, born in Nijega on May 12, 1877, daughter of Age Ottes Feenstra (bargeman, shopkeeper and merchant) and Jacoba Johannes de Vries, died in Workum on October 8, 1915, aged 38 years.

Sijtje was married in Workum on May 17, 1902, at the age of 25 to
Hendrik de Vries (aged 25 years), born in Workum on February 20, 1877, son of Willem de Vries (house painter) and Trijntje de Jong.
